How does the saying go? Everyone gets their 15-minutes of fame?
Well... for me that happened when I was 16. That is when a movie called Boy Rents Girl aka Can't Buy Me Love was filmed at my high school and I got to be an extra. It was all so very exciting. I don't think I have ever had so much fun.
When I watch the movie I don't even pay attention to the story, because I am too busy looking at everyone and reminiscing. It's just like a living yearbook. All of us forever stuck in a moment of time.

Wow! I would have loved for that to happen at my school :0) What a brilliant document of your youth to have!
ReplyDelete@Sarah Holmes - It was pretty exciting. Some of us even knew ahead of time and got to audition for some of the smaller parts.
ReplyDeleteIt's neat to see where the actors have ended up too. Who would have thought that Patrick Dempsey would have become so popular or so cute! :-)
Sounds like a very cool experience - your 15 minutes of fame. Something you'll remember forever.
ReplyDeleteI saw you!!! Zack always points you out in this movie! He gets so excited about it.
ReplyDeleteHow awesome is that!!! OMG I would love to be an extra in a movie! :)

ReplyDeleteHow cool is that, having a movie filmed at your high school and being one of the extras? As high school memorabilia goes, this is so much more fun than a yearbook!
