There really is something to be said for being a graceful loser.
As those of you that read my blog know (that would be all 2 of you), I am not a country music fan. However that being said, I was very interested in seeing all the newscasters talk about Faith Hill’s not so gracious loss at the CMA’s last night. According to this article, the entire thing was a joke. I personally don’t feel that it was. But what else could she say? She has to save face somehow. She was on the air and was caught showing emotions that are normally saved until the losing star gets home (or at least inside their limo). But hey, that is my take on it…..check out the video footage for yourself and let me know what you think.

A not so graceful loser

hee hee! I think someone is a sore loser!!
ReplyDeleteThere's more than 2 of us :P
ReplyDeleteI love country music. I adore Faith Hill. Maybe she was a sore loser - maybe someone said something to her backstage, maybe it was a joke. Hard to say. Everything I've ever seen with her though shows her to be very gracious and respectful. If she had an off night its a shame it was so public but honestly everyone should cut her a little slack. Its not like any of us haven't shown a less than desirable side in front of others or the public before.....
ReplyDeleteUh, yeah, right! What else is she gonna say? She is going to get kicked around a little for that one!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Amber. People do have the right to have a bad day but I think that it would have all blown over and not been such a big deal if she would have not posted the excuse that it was a joke. According to the article her dancing around backstage before they said the named the winner was also part of the joke.
ReplyDeleteIt is sad really because I think more people are concentrating on Faith Hill instead of the real winner (Carrie Underwood). In fact this topic was in the top 3 talked about online yesterday.
