I like to take pictures. Lots of pictures. I have taken part in a year long (365 days) daily photo project, four different times now. That is 4 years worth of daily photos!
This year, I wanted to do something different. So, instead of a photo-a-day, I am taking a 1.5 second video-a-day.
I decided that the only way that I was going to be able to keep up and stay on top of this project was to actually use an app that was made to do this very thing. So, I purchased the 1 Second Everyday (1SE) app for my iPhone. The app helps me select a 1.5 second snippet for each day and then stitches them all together into one movie. Easy Peasy. At the end of the year, I will have about a 9 minute long video of my entire year.
I am enjoying this project a lot and so far I have kept up with it. I never really planned to publicly share anything other than the final year end video. But since I have been saving monthly backups of my video snippets, I thought that I would go ahead and share them. Ideally, since this is the April A to Z challenge, April would have been the perfect month to share. But, since the month is not yet over, I'll share my videos for January, February and March.
I don't claim to live an exciting life. In fact, there are probably way too many daily video snippets of my cat. But in the end, when all the video snippets of cats and sunsets and clouds have been stitched together, I wil be able to honestly say that the video is the real Me and what my life was like at those specific points in time. I really like that.
