D is for Daffodils, Daisies & Dandelions

I always wonder what it would be like to live in a place where tons of plants and flowers grow.

I am not saying that the desert doesn't have its share of beautiful flowers. But some places are just so green and colorful.

You know, the grass is always greener... yadda yadda. Although, in this case it quite literally is.

What kind of flowers grow where you live?

  2. My mom would plant daffodils. She took great pride in them along with tulips.

I’m exploring different types of dreams and their meanings.

  3. I must admit, I'm not sure I've seen any flowers here yet in Phoenix. When we lived in Prescott, I know that the neighbors next door had tulips :)

and to answer your question, I was at the Sonoran Desert Museum once about 15 years ago; its on our list to get down to that part of the state soon :)

  4. We haven't planted many flowers yet. But DD is going to put in a flower bed this year. I have columbine, irises, day lilies, and daffodils planted. and we have some wild flowers in areas where we don't mow in summer. Of course, right now there is snow on the ground, but the lilies and daffodils had been sprouting shoots before this snow.

I also have a picturebook blog for kid’s and inner kids at Ollie-Bug.com. Which based on your humor, you may like.

    See you tomorrow,

  7. I'm lucky to live near huge parks, forests and some beautifully maintained gardens so I see lots of green and flowers of all kinds.
