Blog is ready for Fall ya'all

I updated the look. Nothing much but it is something. Of course B says it does not look like 'Fall' but since we do have seasons where I live it is good enough for me. I worked all night to get the orange to go away from the post title and finally got it to be the blue I wanted. Now darn it when I pasted it to the blogger template it is orange again! Well it is too late to fix it now. I am going to bed. If anyone knows what I have to change to make the titles blue please leave me a comment.

  1. I like the new look! I think the colors are great for fall. Sometimes boys can't see beyond the obvious. ;)

In your template, do you have a section that says
    .post-title ?

Under that, there is a line for color. I haven't tried it myself, but I'm guessing that's where you change the title color. Hope that helps!

  2. Thanks Lisa. I am glad I was not too offbase with the color. DH wanted me to use red but I told him that was more for Christmas and not Fall.

The sections that I edited were for the .post title. I may have to do some more editing and see what happens. It still is blue on my end but the blue is just not there once it is updated.

    I will keep trying. Thanks.

  3. How did you do this? I have not figured out how to do something like this. I found a website with free templates but I've not been able to figure out how to add them to my own.

You are so very brilliant and crafty.

  4. CarpeDM - Thank you so much. Basically what I did was keep the template I had originally and just changed the background color to one I wanted. As for the title picture. I put an already made title and added my name using Paint Shop Pro. Then I edited my template to look at where I had uploaded my title bar. If you look at my blog and then go to View Source and scroll down you will see the section for the title. All you need to do is upload to a photo server, or your own server what you want to use as the title and then put the link into your own template.

I am sure I am not very clear. Sorry about that. If you want help just let me know and I will see what I can do.
