I am not really happy with it but I am sure it will grow one me. It does NOT look like the picture in the book and I am bummed about it. It is pretty much done, except for sewing a snap on and cleaning up some of the ends. I have now started on Christmas present #3 which is just another one of these purses/Game Boy holders but with different colors. I don't have a digital so this is just a scan of the completed purse. I plan to take photos as soon as I am completely finished.
Nice job - I sure wish i knew how to crochet, but then I probably never would as I spend to much time on BE!!

ReplyDeleteI think it's cute. I tried knitting/crocheting/something with needles but with my carpal tunnel, it doesn't work for me. Too much pain. I have a lot of respect for people who can do this.

ReplyDeleteLisa - Thank you. I like the pink too. At least it was easy to buy yarn as all my nieces like pink. I am doing the second on in pink and purple. It actually looks a little more like the picture than the first one. I just have to remember not to stress as I am making these for very young girls and I am sure they will like them.
CarpeDM - Thank you. It does get hard on my fingers. Especially since I am on the computer all day at work. My right hand gets a work out. I am sure once the holidays are over I will yet again have to take a break and let my hand rest.
