A co-worker of mine raises Emus. One of his Emus started to lay eggs this week and he brought egg #2 in to work. I think the eggs are very pretty – almost as if they were painted. They are a combination between hunter green and aqua. If the top layer is scraped off, it is blue underneath.

I had no idea that they were that huge. When I first saw the photo, I thought that you were holding an Easter Egg. Must show this to the little boy next door.

ReplyDeleteI was surprised at how they looked. They are heavy and feel very thick.
I think my friend may even bring some in to eat so I am looking forward to that. And of course if he does I will post about it!
